Logistics Network Development Manager
As a Logistics Network Development Manager, you’ll play an important part in shaping and improving the way our products move through our logistics network. Working across distribution, transport and wider operations, you’ll help make sure our network is efficient, reliable and ready to support our customers and colleagues as we grow.
You’ll be responsible for reviewing how our network operates, identifying opportunities to improve and helping turn ideas into practical solutions. From analysing performance and capacity to supporting new projects, locations and ways of working, you’ll help us make informed decisions that improve service, productivity and cost efficiency.
Every day will bring a different challenge, so you’ll need to be organised, commercially aware and confident working with detail. You’ll build strong relationships across the business and with external partners, communicating clearly and keeping projects moving from initial idea through to implementation.
What we’re dreaming of seeing:
We’re looking for a Logistics Network Development Manager who enjoys understanding how things work and finding better ways to make them work. You’ll have experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, distribution or a similar operational environment, with a strong understanding of network planning, capacity, service performance and continuous improvement.
You’ll be comfortable working with operational and commercial data, using insight to identify trends, assess options and make recommendations. You’ll be able to balance customer needs, operational requirements and cost, while considering the practical impact of changes across our network.
Ideally, you’ll have experience delivering logistics or supply chain projects, such as network optimisation, distribution centre development, transport planning, carrier management or process improvement. You’ll be confident coordinating activity across different teams, managing priorities and supporting implementation in a structured and effective way.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will be essential. You’ll be able to explain complex information clearly, influence decisions and build positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and partners. Most importantly, you’ll have a curious, practical and ‘can do’ attitude, with the confidence to challenge current ways of working and help us create a stronger logistics network.
Helping our logistics network move forward
Our logistics teams are at the heart of delivering a great experience for our customers and colleagues. As a Logistics Network Development Manager, you’ll help us understand what our network needs today and how it can develop for the future.
You’ll work with teams across logistics, operations, finance, commercial and technology to assess opportunities and develop solutions that support our business plans. You’ll help define requirements, build business cases, review options and contribute to projects that improve capacity, resilience, service and efficiency.
You’ll also monitor network performance, identify risks and opportunities, and make sure actions are followed through. Whether you’re supporting a new distribution approach, improving transport flows or helping introduce more effective processes, you’ll bring structure, insight and a focus on delivering sustainable results.
The cool side of the pillow (our benefits):
