We’re looking for a Buyers Assistant to support our buying team in sourcing great products, managing supplier relationships and ensuring the right range and stock levels for our stores and online channels.

The role:

• Support Buyers with product research, market analysis and trend monitoring

• Assist in supplier communications, purchase order creation and order follow up

• Maintain product data and ensure accurate listings across systems

• Help manage stock levels, support replenishment and liaise with logistics teams

• Prepare reports and basic forecasts to support buying decisions

• Support the negotiation process and help evaluate supplier performance

• Work as part of a collaborative buying team to deliver range and margin targets

Who we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a retail buying support, merchandising or purchasing role is desirable

• Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills

• Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems (e.g. ERP/PIM)

• Good communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise

• Interest in product trends and customer behaviour, with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive supplier relationships

• Degree or relevant qualification in business, merchandising or retail is desirable but not essential
