Site Operations Leader
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our team as a Site Operations Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to support our strategic priorities, lead an inclusive team, and ensure high-performing day-to-day warehouse and transport operations. Key Responsibilities in Site Operations Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of daily site operations, including warehouse, transport, and logistics activities
- Manage and develop a diverse team, ensuring effective resource planning, shift allocation, and colleague engagement
- Drive operational efficiency by monitoring performance against KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions
- Maintain full site compliance for health and safety, environmental policies, and legal logistics requirements
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of colleagues, fostering a positive working culture
- Ensure cost control through effective site budgeting, resource utilisation, and stock management
- Work collaboratively with wider business teams (Transport, HR, Customer Service, Retail) to deliver exceptional service and achieve business goals
- Lead regular team briefings, performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback to maximise team potential
- Respond quickly and professionally to operational issues, resolving incidents, and ensuring minimal disruption to site performance
Skills, Experience and Competencies Required for Site Operations Management
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within logistics, warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop operational teams
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Solid understanding of health and safety, compliance, and operational best practise in warehousing and transport
- Experience in resource planning, shift management, and KPI performance monitoring
- Effective communicator, with confidence to liaise across all levels of the business
- Good IT literacy including ability to use warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
- A flexible, hands-on approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing

Working Patterns and Location
- Full-time hours with flexibility to meet operational needs, which may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
