Why did you decide to join the business?
I knew Bensons was a big retailer, with big ideas, and I had previously worked for a large sofa retailer, so I could transfer my skills, The bonus is Head Office is very close to home, so it’s an easy commute for me.
What do you love most about working at bensons for beds?
No two days are the same, which makes for an interesting role; it’s fast paced, dynamic and the culture is very friendly and open to new ideas.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I’m really interested in sleep; aren’t we all! So being involved in creating and launching products which can aid restful sleep is great.
What is your bed time routine?
I normally aim to be in bed for around 10pm, then either read for half an hour, or watch a light TV programme, like The Repair Shop; something which is calm and relaxing.
What development have you received whilst working at bensons for beds?
I joined Bensons working in setting up products within our systems and a few years later progressed to a Buying Assistant; and here I am now! I know of many people at Bensons who have moved forward with their career, which great knowing opportunities are available.
What one piece of advice would you give someone starting a new career with bensons for beds?
Work hard and you’ll be noticed and rewarded.
