Why did you decide to join the business?

I wanted to join a business that was growing & changing, as well as working with amazing leaders who I have worked for in previous companies, who have the same values that I have, who put people and customers at the heart of the business.

What do you love most about working at bensons for beds?

I love the changing culture and the loyalty that our people gave to this business, the fact that every colleague can make a difference

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

I love my job, I am a people leader, I strive every day to make sure every colleague can be successful and make a difference in their roles

What is your bed time routine?

I am getting a bit boring as I get older, I am normally in bed by 10pm, having done all my skin routine, ready to have good night’s sleep, always aim for at least 8 hours, it helps when I am sleeping on an amazing mattress and pillow bought from Bensons to support me getting a great night’s sleep

What development have you received whilst working at bensons for beds?

Lots of development, especially being part of the Senior leadership team. We have an amazing suite of modules and development through E learning Platform, as well a key workshop to support building a better culture through our Purpose and unlocking the power of our people

What one piece of advice would you give someone starting a new career with bensons for beds?

When you come onboard, it takes time to learn the business, so don’t panic, there is plenty of support and Learning modules to ensure you have a great start and set up for success
