  • How long have you worked at Bensons for Beds?

    3 years.

  • Why did you decide to join the business?

    Several reasons: I love working in an assisted selling environment. My personal values aligned with the business values and culture. My experiences aligned with the business strategy, direction of travel and the size of the opportunity. I genuinely felt like I could make a real, meaningful, positive difference.

  • What do you love most about working at Bensons for Beds?

    The people and teams across the business, but most importantly for me personally working alongside team retail.

  • Why do you do the job that you do? What gets you out of bed in the morning?

    I love leadership, supporting and coaching teams to deliver high performance. I have a clear purpose – My family, being the best possible version of myself, do work you enjoy, to leave the business in a better place than I found it.

What's your bed time routine?

As I am a member of the 5am club, I'm in bed early by 9.30pm. I complete my daily journal, then it's lights out. I prioritise my sleep to ensure I can live my purpose.

  • What development have you received whilst working at Bensons for Beds?

    I am very grateful that the business is currently sponsoring be to complete my advanced Non-Executive Director coaching programme.

  • How do you feel working at Bensons for Beds has helped you professionally?

    Every day is an opportunity to grow and learn, and become a better leader of people, and a better human being. I work alongside some of the best retailers in the industry, so they keep me on my toes.

  • How do you feel working at Bensons for Beds has helped you in your personal life?

    My family are my purpose as I have previously said. We have made the most of the benefits especially the new improved colleague discount scheme.
