Why did you decide to join the business?
It’s a company that’s on the up… I loved the people I met through the recruitment process, the business has a warm smaller business feel to it.
-
What do you love most about working at Bensons for Beds?
The people of course!!
-
Why do you do the job that you do? What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I believe that looking after our colleagues really well in turn means we look after our customers. Supporting the wellbeing (financial, physical, mental and social) of our colleagues is of utmost importance to me - seeing colleagues thrive and grow in their roles and have the privilege to really make a difference when we can to support colleagues through life’s challenges and happy times makes it all worthwhile.

What's your bed time routine?
Make up off, skin cream on and snuggle up on my iGel mattress with my massive Hungarian Viszla dog Sanchez… oh and not forgetting the husband when he’s at home!
-
What development have you received whilst working at Bensons for Beds?
… where to start? Having taken many years away from retail whilst working in FMCG and property, it's been great development working with some really talented retailers to develop my skillset and I learn from my fabulous team who challenge me daily.
-
How do you feel working at Bensons for Beds has helped you in your personal life?
We’ve developed an even better benefits package for all colleagues over the past 12 months. I’m personally a bit of a utiliser of the discount offers we have on our own products, but also on cinema tickets, etc, through our cash plan provider.

How do you feel working at Bensons for Beds has helped you professionally?
It's expanded my skills, allowed me to grow and develop as a business leader, and given me the freedom to push the People Agenda forward for Bensons.
