We're looking for an exceptional Site Operations Manager to lead one of our regional home delivery operations.

This is far more than a warehouse and transport role. It's an opportunity to build a high-performing operation by developing people, creating accountability, driving continuous improvement and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Leading a team of around 50 colleagues across warehouse, planning and transport, you'll create an environment where colleagues feel supported, challenged and empowered to perform at their very best.

The Opportunity

As Site Operations Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the site.

You'll lead through your people, creating a culture where operational fundamentals are consistently delivered, safety is never compromised and customers receive the exceptional service they expect from Bensons.

Working closely with your leadership team, you'll identify opportunities, remove barriers, solve problems and continually improve the way your operation performs.

You'll use data to understand performance, identify root causes and make informed decisions that improve both colleague and customer outcomes.

Most importantly, you'll leave the operation stronger than you found it.

About You

We're looking for an operational leader who enjoys building teams every bit as much as building performance.

You'll bring:

· Experience leading a warehouse, transport or logistics operation.

· A proven track record of developing people and creating high-performing teams.

· Strong operational and commercial awareness.

· Experience improving operational performance through coaching, problem solving and continuous improvement.

· The ability to analyse operational data and translate insight into meaningful action.

· A collaborative leadership style built on trust, integrity and accountability.

· A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Experience within two-person home delivery, furniture retail or another customer-facing logistics environment would be highly advantageous.
