At Bensons for Beds, we're looking for experienced 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Drivers to join our friendly delivery team. This is more than just driving – you'll be the face of our business, delivering beds and furniture into our customers' homes and helping create a fantastic experience from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you'll:

• Deliver beds, mattresses and furniture safely into customers' homes

• Assemble products in the customer's room of choice

• Provide friendly, professional customer service on every delivery

• Drive safely while maintaining high vehicle standards

• Use a PDA to complete delivery information accurately

• Handle furniture safely using correct manual handling techniques

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in delivering excellent service and doesn't mind getting stuck in.

You'll need:

• A valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence

• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle commercially

• Good knowledge of digital tachographs and EU drivers' hours legislation

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• The ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture safely

• Confidence working as part of a two-person team

It would be great if you also have experience using handheld PDA devices, although full training will be provided.
