We’re hiring a Customer Delivery Van Driver to join our home delivery team.

Are you a reliable van driver who takes pride in excellent customer service? This role is more than driving — you’ll deliver household items into customers’ homes, set up and position products with care, and ensure every customer receives a professional, friendly experience.

The job:

• Deliver mattresses, bed frames and bedroom furniture using a company van
• Carry items safely into customers’ homes and position/assemble as required in the room of choice
• Provide a friendly, professional service — customers are central to everything we do
• Work as part of a two-person delivery team
• Use a PDA to capture signatures and complete required paperwork accurately
• Drive safely, follow vehicle checks and help maintain vehicle standards

Who we want:

• Full UK driving licence category C1 (or equivalent) where required by role, and a valid driver CPC / digital driver card as applicable
• Previous experience driving delivery vans in a customer-facing role preferred
• Familiarity with digital tachographs and relevant driving regulations
• Good people skills with experience delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture; manual handling experience is essential
• Comfortable using a PDA or handheld device to record deliveries (training provided if required)
• For insurance purposes you should be aged 21 years or over

Key responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
• Deliver and assemble products into customers’ homes, ensuring items are presented and installed correctly
• Operate a PDA to confirm deliveries, collect customer signatures and complete required documentation
• Work collaboratively with your delivery partner to meet daily route targets and provide a positive customer experience
• Adhere to health & safety and manual handling guidelines at all times
• Report any vehicle issues or customer concerns promptly to the depot or manager

Skills and experience:

• Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle used and, where applicable, driver CPC qualification
• Previous commercial or delivery driving experience desirable
• Practical knowledge of manual handling and safe lifting techniques
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Organised, punctual and able to manage time effectively on a daily route
• Comfortable using basic digital tools such as PDAs and mobile apps; willingness to learn company systems
